Akila worked as a Software professional for about 10 years before her son was diagnosed with Autism in 1999. She has completed her MSc in Psychology and is a trainer facilitator and counsellor. She has undergone specialised training for implementing PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), Augmentative and Alternate Communication (AAC) and Rapid Prompting Method (RPM). She uses a combination of the above methods to assess and implement programs for persons affected with Autism and related communication disorders. She leads the activities of Amaze trust with commitment and passion to achieve the mission of enabling each person /child with Autism and empowering their families through designing innovative and effective programs, processes, and solutions. She also shares her vast knowledge with the rest of the community through training programs, webinars and workshops across India . She also works towards parent empowerment and offers parent counselling . She is the Founding member and Vice President [South ] of Autism Society of India as well a trustee for the Covaicare trust. She is on the Governing council of Foundation for Human Learning and Growth , Aastha.

D.Vijayakrishnan , retired as a Chief Manager from the State bank of India in the year 2022. He had his basic education in Ooty and has completed his masters degree in Mathematics from CBM college Coimbatore. He has guided more than 1000 students studying Class 12 in Ooty to understand and solve problems in Calculus. Later he has coached students to qualify in the competitive exams to enter the banks for more than 10 years. More than 100 of his students are now working in various banks and insurance companies. He is a parent of an adult on the Autism spectrum who is an intern at Amaze trust . Currently he supports Amaze with administrative tasks and supervises the day to day running of the skill training center .

Shiny is a graduate in Agriculture Engineering , a homemaker, and a committed parent of a teenage son on the autism spectrum. She has progressively familiarised herself and diligently deepened her understanding of the complexities of the spectrum over the years through participation in various workshops and training sessions offered by Amaze and other providers . This significantly enriched her insights and knowledge into the diverse and multifaceted nature of autism. Currently she uses the extensive knowledge and skills acquired by her to support and supervise the staff at Amaze as well as contributes to the administration of the Trust .

Aparna Is A Graduate In Arts From Bangalore University. She Is An Artist Interested In Batik, Tie And Dye, Knitting, Crocheting, Embroidery And Painting. She has setup her online Art establishment called “Aparna’s Weaves and Hues “. She also used to write for several newspapers and online forums for over 11 years. Aparna is an aunt to a person on the autism spectrum [sister of founder trustee Sriram Narayan] and has been closely associated with Amaze since it’s inception . She trained the students and staff in “Tie And Dye” technique and till date the interns are making products like stoles using this technique .She is happy to note that infact hey have gonea step further learning Shibori and they supply this material to SNEH Chennai. And Making Many Articles Using Tie And Dye And Shibori. Aparna intends to eventually settle down in or around Coimbatore and hopes to dedicate more time to the day to day running of the trust also in the future .Till then she will be supporting the activities remotely .

Gopal has a career spanning over 50 years featuring depth and breadth of exposure in various functional areas including Financial Accounting GAAP(India, Singapore, New Zealand, USA and International), Management Accounting, Tax, Funds Management, Systems Analysis and implementation and stock issues. He has excellent management and leadership skills. He has been guiding the trustees on financial matters , helping to file the accounts and tax returns for the trust .
